Our Tours Aren't Lifeless
We are professional storytellers who bring unscripted history to life...and death. We take you to the very best in haunted and historic spaces on Mount Desert Island and within Downtown Bar Harbor.
All walking tours are about an hour and forty-five minutes and our routes are approximately one mile. Guests will walk at a leisurely pace that winds through the Downtown Bar Harbor area. Bring your camera and wear comfortable walking shoes. Our weather can change on a dime so rainy/misty/windy nights can be between 40-50 degrees and the "real feel" can be as low as the 20s in October. Check your weather app early and often.
Save by booking online! Our Bar Harbor Ghost Tour and Wabanaki Spirit Walk tours are regularly $20 but you will save $2 per adult and $10 per child by reserving your tickets online in advance on select tours. The Haunted Happy Hour and van tours are not included in this deal. Join us for some of the best walking tours in the U.S. and you'll never see Maine the same way again!
* Although we strive to have every tour access the inside of the 1932 Criterion Theatre, we cannot always do so. Entry to the theatre is limited due to live shows, extended movie run times, and seasonal openings. From May 1-Memorial Day Weekend we will be limited to entry on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. From Memorial Day Weekend through Indigenous Peoples Day (formerly Columbus Day) the theatre will be open 7 nights a week. We no not reduce the price of tours if we do not gain entrance to the theatre. However, we want you to be happy so if entry to the theatre is important to your tour experience, please call us at 207-404-4113 to confirm entry on your tour date. If entry to the theatre is not possible for your tour date we are happy to reschedule your tickets. Also check our Theatre Page.
